Biosafety Cabinets of Chameza
The primary purpose of a biosafety cabinet (BSC or Biological Safety Cabinet or Microbiological Safety Cabinet) is to protect the laboratory users and the environment from pathogens. BSC provides for an enclosed and ventilated workspace. The enclosed space enhances safety when working with materials contaminated (or potentially contaminated) with pathogens. Biosafety cabinets find use where a defined biosafety level is required. Our Class II biosafety Cabinets provide protection of the samples and of the environment, since makeup air is also HEPA-filtered. Class II biosafety cabinets are characterized by a limited fixed inward airflow access opening providing personnel protection, a vertical downward HEPA filtered work zone offering product protection and HEPA filtered exhaust providing environmental protection. A biological safety cabinet Class 2 is specifically designed to safeguard laboratory personnel, the environment, and the products from hazardous biological materials. It operates on the principle of inward airflow combined with HEPA filtration to create a safe working environment.
Class I
Class I BSCs are suitable for work involving low to moderate-risk agents. Since incoming air is not filtered, Class I BSCs should not be used with research materials (e.g., cell lines) that must be handled under sterile conditions. Class I cabinets are used to enclose equipment (e.g., centrifuges, harvesting equipment or small fermenters) or procedures with potential to generate aerosols (e.g., cage dumping, tissue homogenization or culture aeration). Because outgoing air is filtered, research personnel are protected while using a Class I BSC.A stream of inward air moving into the cabinet contains aerosols generated during microbiological manipulations. It then passes through a filtration system that traps all airborne particles and contaminants. Finally, clean and decontaminated air is exhausted from the cabinet.
Class II
Provides protection for personnel, samples, and the environment. Ideal for handling microbiological research involving pathogens. Features laminar airflow and HEPA filtration for maintaining sterile conditions.Class II biosafety cabinets (BSCs) are designed to provide protection for personnel, the product being handled, and the environment. They are the most commonly used biosafety cabinets in laboratories, particularly for handling microbiological agents that pose moderate risks. These cabinets maintain a sterile workspace through a combination of vertical laminar airflow and HEPA filtration.
Class III
Class III biosafety cabinets are designed for maximum containment and are used when working with the most hazardous biological agents (e.g., Risk Group 4 pathogens like Ebola or Marburg viruses). These cabinets provide an airtight, sealed environment, ensuring complete protection for laboratory personnel and the surroundings. At Chameza Enterprises, we offer customizable solutions for both cabinet types, ensuring that they meet the specific safety, functionality, and compliance needs of your laboratory environment.
Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinet
Vertical laminar air flow cabinet is a product of robust engineering combined with strategic ergonomic design. It provides long-term reliability and ultimate user comfort making it ideal for non-hazardous applications that need a sterile environment Whether for educational labs, R&D centers, or healthcare facilities, Chameza's wood laboratory furniture provides a reliable and stylish solution for modern scientific workspaces.Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinet is the only vertical-type clean bench in the market that uses Direct Current Electronically Commutated Motor (DC ECM) technology. Reducing energy costs by up to 70%, these clean benches are the greenest ones yet. The secret to achieving energy savings through ECM technology lies in its high electrical efficiency and ability to run precisely on programmed speeds. Enjoy low heat and noise emission as well with the Airstream® Gen 3 Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinet
Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinets
A Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinet is a type of laboratory equipment designed to provide a sterile working environment by projecting filtered air horizontally across the work surface, offering protection from contamination for the materials being handled. This type of cabinet is commonly used in applications such as electronics assembly, microbiology, pharmaceutical production, and laboratory research, where clean air is critical to maintaining the integrity of samples or products Scientific researches require complicated laboratory procedures and an expensive set of equipment. These laboratory equipment normally run for an average of 8 hours a day, which leads to substantial consumption of your power and expensive electricity bill. But worry no more, we have a solution for you! Airstream® Gen 3 Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinets use energy-efficient technology. As a manufacturer of premium laminar flow cabinets, Chameza's does not settle until the best is achieved. To deliver the finest experience possible, every feature of a cabinet is carefully considered and fulfilled.
